Launch X431 PAD VII and X-prog3 Failed to Clone Transponder Solution

Problem:

I was trying to clone transponder with Launch X431 PAD VII and X-prog3, after inserting key into x-prog and reading key information, pad vii won't read the transponder information and said data communication failed. It asked to update key programming firmware, did it and gave another error device not response. Any solution?

Solution:

This function is under key programmer menu. To use transponder cloning related functions or update key programming software you must have Lunch x431 key programmer add-on module.
