Brief summary: The functional difference between PRO3 V+ ELITE and PRO5: PRO5 supports the ECU programming function (online programming) of BMW/ Mercedes-Benz, while PRO3 V+ ELITE does not.
It should also be noted that, thanks to the SmartLink VCI, the X431 FIX function (CarSET PRO database) that was previously only available on PAD V ELITE/ PAD VII ELITE and PRO5, as well as Renault SGW, can now also be purchased and used on PRO3 V+ ELITE (the old DBSCAR VII does not support Renault's new DOIP protocol, but Smartlink does).
