What is the X431 FIX function and how to use it?

LAUNCH X431 diagnostic device supports "X431 FIX" function, which is jointly developed by LAUNCH Technology and HaynesPro, a famous European car repair database. This article will introduce what X431 FIX function can do / how to use / and how to activate it.

NOTE: Currently, the devices that support X431 FIX function are LAUNCH X431 PAD V ELITE, X431 PAD VII ELITE, X431 PRO 5 (SmartLink).

Part 1: What can X431 FIX function do?

X431 FIX function allows LAUNCH X431 device to use CarSET PRO database. The CarSET PRO database provides instant access to a wide range of Technical Service Bulletins (TSBs), as well as links to fault codes and related case descriptions in original equipment manufacturer (OEM) quality.

In addition, it includes tried-and-tested problem solutions and tips as well as guided vehicle diagnostics. The CarSET PRO database also offers wiring diagrams, installation locations and fault code information for all vehicle systems (engine management system, ABS, ESP, air conditioning). You can find electrical and mechanical information, repair procedures, diagnostic and fault code information, vehicle wiring diagrams, and repair schedules.

The database includes all common data from European and US vehicle manufacturers and is continuously being further developed.

Part 2: How to use the X431 FIX function

Open the X-431 APP, the function path is: Information Center -> X431 FIX.

When using X431 FIX for the first time, you need to log in to CarSET PRO.

Part3: How to get a CarSET PRO account / How to activate the X431 FIX function.

Return to the main interface of the X-431 APP, and you can purchase the European database license / EU Professional Software Package in the "MALL" option.

The European database license includes:

CarSET Pro (car) 1 year subscription (that is, activate the X431 FIX function and obtain the CarSET Pro database access license).

EU Professional Software Package includes:

- X431 Passenger car software 1-year subscription

- CarSET Pro database 1-year subscription (Contains Haynespro, X431 Fix)
