When Did You Need To Add Launch X431 IMMO Plus Function ?

• Launch X431 PAD or Pro with X-prog3 has less immo function than X431 IMMO Plus or IMMO Elite.  IMMO versions. The IMMO specific versions have a higher level of IMMO software but the non IMMO versions (pad vii/pro5+ x-prog3) have more PROGRAMMING Software.
• PAD VII/PRO5 + X-prog3 will program keys for German brands, BMW, Benz and Porsche ONLY, to program immobilizer key for other brands GM, Nissan, Honda, Ford, PSA, Renault, Chrysler etc users are allowed to activate the IMMO software package license to the device. So you don't need to buy a separate IMMO tablet.
• For example, if need to use VAG IMMO4 key programming function and everything is up to date, but X431 (with x-prog3) says ‘Download or Update IMMO software package’ , in this case you need to activate immo software license to the device.

How to activate IMMO Software License?

1. For the first activation, you must purchase two-year upgrade service.

*After two years software license expires, renew it with any type of license above.

2. Provide the serial number of your Launch tool to us to confirm and activate the license. It will be activated within 2 days.

3. After activation, enter the Software Update function on the device menu to update the IMMO software package. Then the Launch tool will have the same immobilizer function as the X-431 IMMO Plus or X-431 IMMO Elite.

After activating IMMO software package, your PAD7 or Pro5 will have the following IMMOBILIZER software.

FYI: To use remote/transponder cloning/generation functions, you should have Launch X431 key programmer add-on modules.
