The X431 PRO 3, when paired with a DBScar VII VCI, requires a USB Type A to Type B cable for performing DoIP diagnostics.
- Note: Similar to the PRO 5, the new X431 PRO 3 models come with SmartLink VCI, eliminating the need for additional adapters for DoIP diagnostics.
Case 3: Using DBScar VII VCI with LAUNCH X431 Devices
In this scenario, X431 devices like CRP919E BT, CRP919X BT, Pro3 APEX, and others must be used with a Launch X431 DoIP Cable (16Pin) for DoIP diagnostics when paired with the DBScar VII VCI. The DoIP Cable is specifically designed for these devices and works only with DBScar VII VCIs.
