Very good LAUNCH X431 PRO3S Plus scanner for the price and fast

Now about the Launch X431 Pro3S+, I've just barely scratched the surface using this tool but so far this tool has really impressed me. I've used it on a 2004 Ford F150 Lariat, 2004 Lexus LS 430, 2008 Mazda RX8, 2016 Toyota Corolla, and a 2019 Honda Odyssey. I used Intelligent Diagnoses and it automatically picked up all the vehicles except the Lexus. On the Lexus, I used Local Diagnoses and I was able to do everything Lexus Techsteam software did. I mean everything which was amazing. All bi-directional tasks!

I'm a technician in the private sector. I own my shop. This scanner is a beast of a unit. Will do anything that technician would need for general repair. It does basic coding and programming, basic security (keys and fobs), module learning, and live data and bidirectional controlling.

As a plus, the tablet is android based (specifically a Lenovo tablet). I downloaded Google sheets, Venmo, cashapp, and my card processing app to be able to take payments directly from the tablet. Very useful

It runs on a standard Android platform, which offers a lot of flexibility while using it, and has an integrated support line to Launch. There is a tough cover on it with a useful kickstand, and the tablet has a very robust feel, which is nice considering its possible uses. I like how the cover has a cutout for the power cable which allows it to easily decide which way to plug it in. Not totally necessary, but a very clever attention to detail.

The X431 PROS+ is a great tool for working on a variety of vehicles. So far, it has worked flawlessly for three of my modern vehicles (2 BMWs and a Porsche). I have been able to run diagnostic tests, including diesel tests, pull codes, and have found quite a few coding options for our newest car (2013 Cayenne). Additionally, it looks to have support for pretty much any make & model available, so I think that this might be pretty versatile for even a repair shop.

Good scan tool only Problem I have with it is trying to get this tool registered in FCA AutoAuth. I have set up account with AutoAuth to use bi directional features and clear codes for jeep Chrysler and dodge vehicles that are 2018 and up. When registering there is no option to select a pro3s+, the only option is the pro3. I set up with the pro3 as my scan tool and my tool serial number and it would Not work. But other then not being able to use auto auth with it, it has been a good tool the bi directional controls are nice and the graphs are pretty good as well overall it’s a good tool.
