I bought the device because it was recommended by well-known people. The device works as described.
Simply plug into OBD and search for the vehicle by itself and then simply click on what you need in the menu.

The build quality is solid and the device feels good in the hand.
We've used it on 4 vehicles, Topology is really good for diagnosing communication failures, and it worked on every vehicle we've tried it on.

Setting up the Launch X431 Pro3 APEX was easy and quick!
This device with topographic map layouts and the ability to scan 24V HD diesel vehicles was a feature for me that prompted me to buy.
I'm impressed by the battery's lifespan, as it lasts a week ithout needing to be charged.
Great tool that should not be missing in any workshop awt home. Packed full of specialized features and bi-directional controls!
Peace of mind thanks to free updates for 2 years.

Currently in tech school for automotive, bought this LAUNCH X431 PRO3 APEX scan tool to use on my personal, I use snap on scan tools at school and this scan tool easily competes with them

LAUNCH X431 PRO3 APEX is a great scanner which does everything a 6k+ scanners do. I run a shop and Launch is my go to scanner. Great seller, always reply right away with any question i have. Will be back to upgrade in the future.
