The prefect OBD scanner for the price. Let me tell you this device has all what you need. It diagnose the vehicle in simple steps. It is perfect to program keys. Like the way the reset functions work out. My ac was not working at times so I used the reset function of the AC system relearn initialization and fixed the problem. I have the autel mx808 but this scanner is way better!! This tool is a must have !!!! Can’t beat the price. Excellent!!!!

"LAUNCH X431 CRP919E BT" is one of the best most versatile scanners I have used currently 2024 for any vehicle in the United States. I have used brands like Autel Maxicom Mk808 Obd2, Autel Maxicheck Mx808, Foxwell Nt650 Elite, Foxwell Nt630 Plus, Foxwell Nt604 Elite and Innova 5110 among others and they really don't help at all, you just waste time and money.
It is amazing that LAUNCH has manufactured this type of Bidirectional scanner just like and from the same range of the OEM OBDII ones used by Dealers. This scanner programs remote controls, bleeds ABS brakes, resets the different TPMS modules and helps them learn again something that only the original Dealer OEM scanner did. You can code ECUs and scan many problems that a scanner from another brand will never do. The automatic diagnosis is a good point of Launch. Conclusion you are going to invest in one of the best OBD2 scanner technologies. I recommend it 100%. The best thing to diagnose problems with any vehicle is LAUNCH.

Like that the set up was simple to do, and I was able to scan my car easily and I discovered issues I wasn’t aware of. It seems to be able to do everything I hoped it would. Good deal.

Wasn't sure what to expect with this machine. £400 delivered (same day!!) It's not expensive at all for what it can do.

Registration was easy and updating to the latest firmware/software version took only 10mins.

Used it three times and very impressive so far.

Managed to activate the fuel pump on a 2016 Kia Sorrento 2.2cdti today for a missfuel job. 20mins later, car is running!

Very easy to use, it's earning it's keep already. Android software seems stable and fast. Battery life seems great so far.

Add your Google account details and you can use it as an android tablet aswell, it's not just a diagnostic machine.

First thing’s first, it is an excellent addition to any tool set, be it in your home garage or professional mechanic shop. It has a fast Android interface along with 64GB of memory, with quick communication via the Bluetooth dongle. It comes in a very nice durable case, super handy for a mobile mechanics and anyone looking to protect their investment!

It features bi-directional control found on much more expensive readers, allowing you to control various systems separate from just reading codes from the ECU.

I have been able to diagnose check engine lights on multiple vehicles quickly and have also been able to use the scanner extensively on a 2020 Lexus RX350 and 2018 Toyota 4Runner. With this CRP919EBT, immobilizer programming, TPMS reset, and oil change light resets were easy to carry out. I was also able to monitor the transmission system temperature during a transmission fluid change, eliminating the need for any jumping of OBD2 pins and reading of cryptic dash lights.

In addition, I was able to automatically actuate the rear brake calipers on the RX350 as well as a 2018 Honda CRV which both needed replacement brake pads.

This scanner also worked very well to do basic coding on a 2019 BMW X5 to remove seatbelt chimes and to switch on the automatic power folding mirror functions.

Although it’s too early for me to use the included updates, I am looking forward to using this scanner more in the future. Almost any DIY guy or shop can benefit from this scanner, and it is truly a worthwhile investment.

It may seem expensive at first, but with the features it offers, this scanner will quickly pay for itself. Launch had already stepped up their game with the previous X431, and this has only gotten better. I would definitely recommend you consider this scanner to add to your arsenal!

I bought the CRP919EBT for only one purpose (for now), and that was the Fuel Composition Reset. GM and alcohol readings or whatever it's called goes out of wack on these flex fuel engines. So instead of taking the truck to a Shop and paying them stupid money for a 5 minute task, just buy one of these scanners. Worked as hoped. So very happy with it. At this price, it will pay for itself after 3 resets.

Been using the 919e for the past week and have been very impressed with the performance and speed of this scan tool. If you need a beginner pro scan tool in a smaller package for a good price I highly recommend this one.

Besides reading global data & TDCs, the scanner can read factory data & DTCs on all modules, has bi-directional control, and will do computer coding. Has good graphing ability, up to 4 pids at once, and record mode.

The 919e is not Bluetooth but being connected directly to the data link connector, the scanner will communicate faster with the vehicle. Also, having a direct connection, the 919e battery will stay charged by the vehicle battery.

Another thing about this scan tool (unless requested by the manufacturer), it does not need to be connected to the internet to use. The 919e does not need to be registered or you need to make an account to update. After the 919e is connected to the internet it's ready to update.

For me, the cable needs to be longer, I recommend buying the Launch ELM327 OBD2 (60CM/23.6") extension cable, the extra 60CM will allow you to put the scanner in the passenger seat without pulling the 919e connector loose from the vehicle data link connector. If that happens, the 919e will default back to the main page and you will need to reconnect.

There is no direct access to the internet, only through Code Search, but you can email yourself screenshots, images & diagnostic reports that are saved on the 919e. Each DTC has an option for Code Search, click on Code Search and Google will open (if connected to the internet) and will give you general ideas of what the problem may be.

The 919e does have a camera and takes decent photos, it's a basic camera and has no zoom or editing option. I posted a couple of images taken with the 919e.

I had already had a few experiences with Launch, but I used to have access to Vida for my Volvo and can do everything I need with it. Handbrake service stand, reset engine oil, etc.

The CRP919E BT scanner and accessories are delivered in a sturdy case. The tablet, the Bluetooth adapter with cable, a charger and instructions in English are included. First, you have to register with your tablet and update the software. Some data is loaded there, so go where you have good WiFi. After that, the device is ready for use. I've tested it on various vehicles. He recognizes everyone without any problems. Even the Mercedes SL comes with ALL control units. Switching off/venting the SBC brake is no problem. It is also possible to program functions there. You can display the real data and also control the individual functions. This allows you to quickly find errors. We purchased the OBD2 diagnostic LAUNCH X431 CRP919E BT for our hobby workshop. It takes about half an hour to set up and update and is reasonably intuitive. The automatic recognition of the VIN works on most vehicles. But manual entry is also no problem. The control devices are read out completely and fault memories can be reset. A variety of reset or service functions are also available. Deep coding, such as with Bimmer Code or VCDS, is probably not working, or we have not found this function. For everyday workshop use, but still a powerful tool for the price.

Easy to use Very extensive. Helpful for NOx sensors and Ad BLUE faults. Works when servicing and diagnosing vehicles. Recommended for professionals and amateur mechanics.

I like the functions available on this scanner. I meets my needs. Takes a little time to learn to navigate the menus but once you’ve been through it once or twice it’s very straightforward. The battery life seems to be good as well.
