I deeply regret not getting my hands on the CRP919EBT earlier. It outperforms other launch x431 while being more budget-friendly. If you're looking for a powerful diagnostic tool that offers exceptional speed, efficiency, and compatibility with newer vehicle models, the CRP919EBT is an excellent choice that won't disappoint. As a technician it makes my job alot easier to so with the bidirectional features and the depth of programing and scans it does. And the nice hard case keeps your investment protected. Way better then the snap on solus or the cheap junk scanners out there. I'll probably never use the plug adapters but the fact that they went above and beyond to include them is awesome.

I was initially torn between purchasing the "highly rating" LAUNCH X431 scanner and the CRP919EBT. On the surface, both products seemed to offer similar features, including CANFD support. However, the model PROS V+and V came with a much higher price tag, possibly due to its advertised inclusion of OBD1 connectors and cables that I probably wouldn't even need. On the other hand, the CRP919EBT boasted Android 10 while other launch x431 had Android 9.0.

After taking the leap and acquiring the CRP919EBT, I must say it truly exceeded my expectations in terms of value for money. Its running speed is incredibly fast, thanks to its built-in 64GB memory. What's even more impressive is that it doesn't require any additional CANFD connectors. the built-in CANFD chip of the device, enabling it to seamlessly support my newer vehicle. With CANFD support, this new diagnostic tool communicates with my vehicle's electronic control units at an astonishing data transfer rate. The speed and efficiency have made a world of difference. I spend far less time waiting for data to load and significantly more time actually diagnosing and troubleshooting vehicle issues.

The diagnostic history is on the home screen on this LAUNCH X431 CRP919E BT, so you don't have to go into the setup process like on other Launch tools. As far as the main diagnostic software that is another place this tool shines. The health report will scan all the modules and create a pdf style report that you can email to yourself of a vehicle owner and it is professional looking and thorough. What I really liked about the CRP919E BT was the datastream layout and the graphing features. The software has a toggle to go from Imperial to Metric measurements which is super helpful since I use both in my diagnostic process and with other tools I have to exit and go back to settings or convert the readings manually so this feature has a more premium feel than other tools. The datastream is laid out well and you can easily start graphing with up to 8 data parameters at a time. If you want to look at less you click on the tab to the right and just check only the graphs you want to see and it adds or subtracts as needed. Another important note is that it does all of this without resetting your data so that if the car acts up while you're switching the screen up it doesn't lose that data. The graphs can also be overlayed to watch two items on the whole screen and the large numbering on the bottom helps us older technicians who can use a larger font.

The hardware of the CRP919E BT is also impressive. With a 6300 mAh battery I've used this tool for days and still had a comfortable reserve left over. The touchscreen is bright and even readable in direct sunlight. I was initially worried about the power button placement but even that was just right when I was needing to quickly cycle the screen off or just grabbing the tool one-handed I could easily reach the button which is an improvement over several other Launch tools I have and just tells me that Launch put a lot of thought into the software and hardware of this tool. All in all this tool is easily worth the money and it has quickly replaced my other tools as my go to when I want to diagnose a vehicle. I would say just buy it you won't be disappointed.

 Launch has got another winner on their hands. After using LAUNCH X431 CRP919E BT for a while in a professional setting I'm impressed.
What sets this tool apart from the others is the software. I have several Launch scan tools of various levels and the user interface on this one is definitely the winner. The home screen is laid out well with easy access to all of the major functions. There are 31 service functions for every type of reset you would need on today's vehicles. Everything from basic oil maintenance resets to injector coding and window calibrations and they all work. The main diagnostic functions of the tool are laid out really well and I loved that I could create a custom list of vehicle makes for quick access to them when I'm just trying to get a quick diagnosis.
