X431 PRO ELITE + X-431 GIII Test OK on my car: VW Jetta 2006 2.5. Mk5 remote control and key programming

We use the Launch everyday in our shop. Its easy to use & really easy to show clients what's going on inside of their vehicles. We did have a slight snag with our Diagnostic tool & We let Customer service know & we received a completely new one in about 3 days. Definitely would recommend this to my buddies

My old reader was outdated and no longer worked on the newer cars. I am a shade tree mechanic and I needed a unit that was bilateral and that helps in diagnosing solenoids and sensors. And for the price its worked well for me. Plus the unit is wify friendly and I get 2 years of updates for free.

Seems to be a capable scanner, able to do many things. Bought it to be able to change transmission fluid in Toyota sealed transmission. Have also already used it to look at several cars for friends and family.

Kids for 500 euros do their job completely, code, read errors, read parameters, etc. I recommend it 100% for anyone who wants to buy it It's worth what you buy!

Good product but not very easy to initialize. Express delivery and very good quality.

I used it on my 2023 GMC Yukon XL with 3.0 So many options to choose. Very easy to use! Customer support was awesome too for helping me set up.

As soon as I purchased the Launch I put it to use. I was doing a brake job and used it to release these new ebrakes. Worked perfectly and saved me a bunch of time. It has SOOO many functions!! I will be learning new things with this X431 Pro Elite each time I use it! It’s very sturdy, connects fast, and I love the warning it gives to remind you not to leave it in the vehicle when you’re done!! Can’t tell you how many times I have left or almost left one of these scanners in a car! Overall all, GREAT product! And sooo many functions. This will be the first tool used when I start a diagnostic check!!!!

All said, Launch makes really good tools and this one fits perfectly as my go to diagnostic tool for almost every situation. I would confidently recommend this tool for anyone looking for a solid workhorse with options to make it even more powerful with other Launch add ons.

I've been very happy with this tool it has easily filled the role I needed. I was looking for a well rounded tool that could complete daily tasks on a wide range of vehicles and the X431 Pro Elite does this very well. I've used the service funtions for oil service reset, brake caliper reset, window calibration, brake bleeding and battery matching on multiple makes like Chevy, Porsche, Ford, Volvo, BMW, Volkswagen, and it did exactly what I wanted. I was impressed in the level of instruction it gave as well since many cars are very picky about the sequence and the directions were clear and very well laid out. The number of service functions is extensive and I have yet to have it fail at anything I've thrown at it.

This is my second launch x431 that I have purchased for professional business use and am very pleased with this scanner. The value you get is very good, I use it program modules and keys, monitor misfire(especially love the Ford power balance) and other features which normally only come with way more expensive scanners. I have recently used it to reprogram a used smart junction box and also program injector codes, I am very pleased with its capability, performance and reliability. Wireless is very convenient also, especially when looking for intermittent faults as you can carry the scanner around the vehicle while monitoring pids and wiggling connectors and wires as you watch the screen looking for faults.

I have owned numerous scanners over the years, including a number of launch products. I have also used other scanners in shops I have been in. This scanner by far is the most advanced, intuitive, and capable scanner I have used. Upon receipt of this scanner, I used it immediately on four vehicles ranging from a 1999 Dodge Cummins pick up to a 2018 Volkswagen Tiguan. In three of the four scans, this scanner showed codes that my other scanners did not show. I have attempted to upload a photo of one from the Volkswagen. While my over 10 year old launch was good, this one is like comparing a Yugo to a Ferrari. This unit, is so much faster, intuitive, and easy to use than previous units. I particularly like how easy it is to find and reset maintenance intervals. In all but one of my scans, it easily read the Vin number. The only vin number it did not read, was on the Nissan, and that could have easily been operator error. The TPMS function works great and having the diagnostic history available is something I have never had but will enjoy. Vehicle coverage is good, in fact, way more than I will ever need. I highly recommend this unit as an affordable, user-friendly, capable unit that is better than most more expensive units I have seen come off of a tool truck. If you need a scanner, buy this one!
