Excellent response in all vehicles

Great X431 PRO ELITE at an affordable price. Unfortunately the OBD cable is a bit too short. Had to buy an additional extension for this. But otherwise great!

The Launch x431 is a tester for professionals and hobby mechanics. You can simply program any vehicle to read and even diagnoses are no problem. The casing is of very high quality and made even for tough everyday workshop use. My conclusion, regardless of whether you are a workshop with many testers or a small hobby workshop, everything is possible with this.

Updated the Launch X431 PRO ELITE and tried it on a few cars
Was able to regenerate DPF, read, edit and delete error message,
Read out test values and code some things.
All in all, the thing works as described.
Simply plug it into the OBD, it will search for the vehicle itself and then simply click on what you need in the menu.

The device starts quickly and I was able to set it up very quickly because the user manual explains it very simply and goes through every step.

In short:

First you set the language. Default is English, I set it to German. Now I have connected the device to the WiFi. This worked perfectly.
I registered with Launch (FREE) and activated the device with the code (the code is included).
The device then updated itself automatically, which took about 5-10 minutes and the LAUNCH X431 PRO Elite was then ready for use.
I connected the OBD cable and I was able to read my vehicle without any problems.
When I read it, I notice that the device reacts very quickly. That impressed me a lot. In addition, when you connect the device to the vehicle, the device is also charged.
You can also charge the Launch X431 at home using a power adapter.
The device also has a stand on the back.
I directly preset a configuration to my favorite brand (favorites) but that wasn't actually necessary because the diagnosis automatically read out the chassis number and carried out the diagnosis. I am very convinced of the device and impressed because the price is justified for this performance. You also get two years of free updates.

Very very good. Love it. Works very well on my car. I have not use it much but so far I am loving it.

First let me start by saying I've yet to find something this tool can't do, it's absolutely everything a mechanic needs to make their job 1000% easier.. I've programmed keys,made transmission adjustments, cleared trouble codes and diagnosed issues in dozens of cars with no problem.. This tool updates quickly and is very user-friendly as far as being able to navigate through the device options very easily compared to other Scan Tools on the market.. Also being able to walk around the car with the wireless tool makes a world of difference, no more being limited to the length of the cord.. Overall this is a great Scan Tool that every mechanic should own whether your a professional or a at home do it yourself, there's not one thing I can complain about the tool is worth every penny I looks forward to using this tool for years to come!!

Like that the set up was simple to do, and I was able to scan my car easily and I discovered issues I wasn’t aware of. It seems to be able to do everything I hoped it would. Good deal.

I tested it today and found that it can be used as air suspension for Dodge Ram 2017 model 5.7 V8 petrol.

Launch X431 PRO ELITE is a great scanner,
It is advanced with the functionality, and I have already found good use for it twice. The bi directional features are very helpful while troubleshooting different components in the vehicle. It is able to test cooling fans door locks perform crank, relearns, and much more. I’m surprised how much it can help while doing mechanic work !

I have experience with a few dealer diagnostics tool , ( ford vcmii ,RossTech VCDS tool.mb star , gm tech2)..... however i must say i am impressed with the LAUNCH X431 PRO ELITE capabilities and functions. I love the modern Type C ports of the device, it supports faster data transfer speeds, I can transfer files, photos, and videos at a much quicker rate compared to traditional ports.Also I love that fact that it can access to google to search any info I need.
yesterday, I used the launch scanner to relearn the crank shaft position sensor on 2015 accord.and it works flawlessly .This tool has taken my diagnostics to the next level. I am pleased with the updates and overall ease of the product.This LAUNCH X431 PRO ELITE will tell you more than just the definition of a error codes.It will also tell you the probable cause of the failure and provide reliable repair recommendations.
I also have used this on my 2022 GM Chrysler Honda and Toyota and has worked as expected .
Tech support is great and fast. LAUNCH service team sent me guide on how to download the APP after I factory reset the tool ,also I purchased an Launch Osilloscope at under $400 from seller at factory price to work with the my LAUNCH ELITE ,it works great too. I recommend this tool to every home mechanic or small auto repair shop.

What can i say? This pro level tool is everything you could need and then some. I've always been a Autelscan tool guy but launch is really starting to put out some great tools. Right off the bat something i have yet to see in another scanner is if your computer doesn't have the vin stored instead of manually typing in the vin you can actually use the rear cam to scan the vin and it works amazingly. I will say in low light it's not great but if you have a flash light on it, it will light right up. This thing is bidirectional which is one of those things you got to have as a professional mechanic.

So far i have really enjoyed using this it's very user friendly faster than all my other scan tools, and has all the tools i need to diag and test components.
